observations for today
so i saw a few psychics in the past few years. i've seen 3 and all have said the same thing - freaky thing is, my mother have said the same thing too - it has stuffed up my logical thinking too - but i've decided to choose and make my own destiny rather than listen to someone's reading about me - the last one i saw was rather helpful and told me:
"how can you look and want something when you don't know what you're looking for?"
so after a well thought moment and few revisions later i've finally finished it today.
few friends have seen it - some had strong initial reactions with my first draft because it was a mixture of superficial things.
one of my friends (lets call him black crab man, as per his request) asked me if i'm being honest and realistic about this and if i can offer the same thing i'm looking for in the list.
answer is yes (well, except for the pee pee part).
why am i posting this? because this is me, this is part of me, the power of language and the internet is great - spread the word people and just in case someone fits the bill, my email is in the contact list.
hehehee :)
but seriously, i've done the club and pub scene, i've done the online scene, my friends have tried to set me up with some people but they just can't seem to get it right too.
i've looked deeply in myself and realised that not all men are the same, that not everyone i meet or have been with are from the same clone of manly bastardly kind. there is only one thing in common amongst them - that is me.
that's when i realised i needed to adjust myself, what makes me think that i'm unlovable? my self worth issues comes up all the time.
someone said, if brad pitt came knocking down my door and declares his love for me, that i still wouldn't believe him.. that's how bad i think of myself is.
DMAN mentioned one time.. "see.. how can anyone not love you...?"
and i looked and looked and only realised that i only have to love myself more to enjoy everything else around me.
so in recognition of this soulful moment, i have compiled this beautiful list of what i truly NEED in a man.
i deserve the best and i accept the best now

someone with ambition and great direction in life.
someone with a great sense of humor.
someone who will love me just as i am forever.
someone who is already grown up but still willing to grow and explore life with me.
someone who is a great lover, great listener and provider.
someone who does not lie.
someone who respects and loves his family.
someone without great emotional baggage.
someone without financial issues.
someone without drug issues.
someone without sexual issues.
someone who is not a cheater or a bullshit artist.
someone who just fits perfectly for my life, body, heart and sould.
someone smart and intelligent.
someone who will appreciate everything that i am.
someone who will vocally tell me and physically show me that i am great and fulfill a part of their life.
someone who will see me and say that i am beautiful both inside and out.
someone who is attractive in my eyes, body and soul.
someone who will respect that i am independent and a free spirit, but at the same time recognise that i am a woman that needs to be loved.
someone who will respect and admire my family and friends.
someone who appreciates the finer things in life but at the same time can be humble and relaxed.
someone passionate and sensitive yet a strong-willed man.
someone who is a caring animal lover.
someone educated and with a respectful job that he loves.
someone with beautiful soulful eyes.
someone with a lively smile.
someone with loving arms and warm great body to hold me.
someone i can talk to without getting tired or consumed with no returned value.
someone who will be there for me and be a great father to our children, be a great lover, be the best man and best friend for me.

well done! i was really hoping that you'd narrow that down...obviously someone listened...the list looks better than what i expected...it's cute that you put the superficial crap in the "extra request" section...
the funny thing was...i thought i found one for myself...how wrong did that one turn out to be?!?
i am beginning to think that men are all the same, clones of each other only some are better looking than others...at the end of the day as long as the person that you are wishing for makes you complete , content and happy...then you've got it right!
i hope you fare better than i my BFF...

dang, you call that list narrowed down? hehehe j/k. my dear loving cuz, all i can say is just keep on loving yourself and you will essentially attract the man that wants to be with you. he may not be all that in your list but the most important thing is that he wants to be with you, you are the world to him and he'll do anything possible to keep you happy and loved. if he turns out not to be the man, then at least you still have someone loving you and that's yourself. Love yah!
